I’ll be going overseas in a few days for 1 month.
I have been bulking up for 3months now and I don’t want this month to stop my progress or have too much of a hindering effect on my goals.
I won’t have access to a gym or weights, it will just be me and my body. Can you guys name some good exercises that will use my own bodyweight and promote muscle growth.
The ones I can think of is:
-Pushups
-Crunches (with a book or something heavy behind my head)
THANKS!!!
Dips.
Stair push ups, with the feet up a couple stairs…
Also, with pushups, you can do 10, then 9, then 8, and so on until 1. Then work your way back up…
A great one for abs is flutter kicks. You lay on your back, straighten your legs, raise them about 6 inches off the ground. Then just alternate them raising them up to a foot or so.
For shoulders… hold your arms out parallel with the ground.
1. Pancakes. Just flip your palms while keeping your arms straight.
2. Circles. Start in small circles, then go to large, then back to small.
3. Over head arm clap. Arms out, palms up, then clap a bit.
At some point you’ll figure out what you like, then come up with some of your own. It won’t make you huge, but it will keep you in shape.

Lay on the ground keep your legs completely straight and just lift them up slow and bring them back down but don’t touch the ground with them. Also Push Your hands together as hard as you can right in front of your chest and the resistance against each other should be a workout, that’ll work your chest out.

On top of pushups and crunches, theres a bit more u gotta do.
March 11, 2010, 10:40 amFirst ur arms and shoulders. Do dips. Also, do planning pushups. Do pyramids (one pushup, then stand up, then do two, then stand up, then do 3, then stand up —go up to 12 and come back down until 1 again)
Then ur abbs. Lie down, and lift both ur legs up two inches off the ground. Make sure the rest of your body is lying. Its just ur abs lifting ur legs. Legs up and down left to right to work every part of ur abbs.
Planks for back and abbs. Go into pushup position, but ur whole forearms are going to be touching the ground. legs together, arms together. Time yourself.
If theres something like stairs, its easy to work ur calf muscles. stand on the tip of a stair tiptoed. push urself up with legs, down with legs, up with legs…on on on
