Does anyone else believe that Arnold schwarzenegger would not be governor of California if it wasn’t for him becoming famous with his Terminator and other movies? I don’t think he’d of had any chance if it wasn’t for his acting career.
It certainly helped him get noticed. But if you’ll recall the events of his election, Gray Davis was recalled, and it opened up a circus. Their were many dozens of candidates, most of them frivolous, including a porn star and Gallagher.
And his wife is a Kennedy.
Although if he didn’t have the acting career, his chances of getting elected would have been far worse.
