like in the chest area, but in the shoulder region?
I am getting a Tattoo there, i just need some really cool ideas.
that was a stupid statement concidering I am lesbian and cannot get pregnant.
a huge cock would be really cool
Or anything like that? Such as between your tattoo and jeans or a bra strap? I know it would be best not to, but if it is necessary is there any way to protect the Tattoo from being rubbed wrong?
Not necessarily for a long period of time.
If you need to put a piece of cloth in between, coat it with some unscented, unmedicated lubriderm. putting dry cloth over a tattoo can cause the cloth to heal to the tattoo, and once you tear it off, it will take some of the ink with it. i fell asleep and my tattoos healed to my bed sheet, and when i pulled it off in the morning, it pulled off some of the scabbing which left blotches in the ink.
Don’t they want to get jobs later in life?
I suspect it is the cumulative effect of substance abuse, which leads to poor decision making skills, that would cause someone to make such a huge mistake. Also, hanging around a sub culture where tattoos are accepted and even cool (like Yahoo Answers, where all the Tattoo proponents gather together to encourage each other) would lead to a similar erosion in decision making skills.
"Emotional risks [of Tattoos] include negative feelings you might have as a result of getting a tattoo or piercing. Social risks are those that could damage your relationship with others, including friends, parents, teachers, and employers. . . For example, body modification can affect your chances for future employment. Certain jobs are not available to people who have visible body art."
(Bonnie B. Graves, Tattooing and body piercing, p. 43)
"The fact that so many people change their minds [about their tattoos] should lead you to think carefully about whether you want to lock yourself into a fashion statement that might cause you a lot of aggravation and heartache later in life." (Laura Reybold, Everything you need to know about the dangers of tattooing and body piercing, p. 32)
"What so few realize, tragically, is that such a mark [tattoo] becomes the albatross around the neck for all time." (Ronald Scutt, Art, Sex and Symbol, 1974, p. 181)
The beauty of the Internet is that there is a wealth of information available to anyone who wants it. This is no different when it comes to online tattoo designs. Before the explosion of the Internet you had to rely on the tattoo designs of your nearest tattooist. Unless, your tattooist only tattoos original designs and changes each one slightly, you could end up with the same tattoo as many other people in your town.
Now, you can take the design of your tattoo into your own hands and it has never been easier. You no longer have to go to your tattoo parlour to look at the designs, you can do it from the comfort of your own home. Secondly, the choice is much larger on the Internet. As the popularity of tattoos has increased in recent times so has the number of tattoo websites.
Having a tattoo is something to seriously consider. Excuse me for stating the obvious but it is permanent and you will want to make sure the design is something that will stand the test of time. Avoid getting tattoos on a whim as this is a sure-fire way to expensive tattoo removal. Tattoos are also pretty expensive. If you don’t have money to waste then I would recommend you do lots of research online before you commit to anything.
Browse through a tattoo designs gallery, there are thousands and thousands of designs to have a look at. Choosing a quality website will enable you to browse through categories and look at high quality pictures of different tattoo designs. Broadly speaking, there are two types of tattoo website to choose from and they are either free or fee-paying.
You get what you pay for and that is nothing new. By subscribing to a website you can gain access to tattoo designs that are not as common. One thing you have to bear in mind with the free websites is that literally everyone can access the tattoos. If the uniqueness of your tattoo is important to you then it is important to remember that these tattoos are not likely to be unique.
Of course it all depends what you are looking for in a tattoo. Many free websites only feature tattoos which are generic. By paying for membership you can gain access to original pieces which are works of art in their own right. There are many incredibly talented tattoo artists you could find which could design your tattoo for you if you look in the right places.
The other great thing about tattoo art websites is that you can talk with other people and share ideas and inspiration. You could network with body art enthusiasts in your area who may be able to recommend a good tattoo website or studio.

I want a smallish tattoo. I don’t want the colors to turn out to be a mix of crap like most Tattoos turn out. Any ideas?
Oh yeah, do they hurt?
I think you should get a tattoo that has meaning to your life. Its going to be on your body forever why not make it a good story when someone ask you about it? And if you get a small tattoo do it to were they put a line between the colors so that over time it won’t bleed together to bad. Like a white line or a little skin colored line would do.
And it depends on where you get the on your body and if you trust the person who does it and if they are good. If you get it some where were you have more meat on your body then it won’t hurt as much but if you get it some where there is bone it is GOING to hurt, however you get the person or a friend to talk to you while you are getting your tattoo done it won’t hurt as much because your mind will be some where else (proven fact).
I hope i helped and think before you ink.

Like this, but something other than stars, maybe a bow, trangle…something.
Yes, i am a girl, and i have a short bob type hair cut. I was wondering what would look good there though, a triangle? barcode?
Yeah. Tattoos in that place tend to suit women a lot more too. I prefer them to be a little lower down than the one in the picture but it’s entirely up to you on whether they look good or not.
Finding a superb tattoo design is not as easy as you might think, and sorting through endless free websites can waste a lot of time and effort as many of the free sites have exactly the same designs.
The worst mistake to make is settling on a tattoo design simply because you became sick of looking or you could not find the right design so you picked an image that was just okay. “Close enough” is not a term that should be used when choosing the tattoo design that you want inked into your skin, this is a permanent image and will be part of you forever.
If you become tired or frustrated from searching because you are unable to locate any quality designs or the best tattoo design for you, there is some good news. The search for outstanding tattoo designs cam be made easier, and this is possible thanks to a helpful tool known as a “Tattoo Finder”. This tool can help you find a quality design that is right for you. You can access this type of image locating tool by joining some tattoo galleries that are for professional Tattoo artists or through some paid tattoo websites.
Thanks to the global reach of the internet it has become easier than ever to gain access to a massive variety of designs and body artwork through using a tattoo finder. Many tattoo galleries for professional tattoo artists utilize the benefits offered by the internet to showcase their designs. It is just amazing to see the tremendous number of incredible tattoo designs found at these sites.
As previously mentioned, it is possible to gain access to these tattoo designs, though you may be required to pay a small fee. However, when you compare what the cost of your time and effort is worth sorting through hundreds or even thousands of low quality free designs the fee becomes insignificant. It is far better to access thousands of quality designs in a single location rather than endure the tedium of searching site after site.
You may be fortunate enough to locate a tattoo finder site that is free apart from charges for the individual stencil and design. If you find an image that is appealing or that you like, you can pay the fee and print out the stencil and even the finished design. Then all you have to do is take it to your tattoo artist and they should be able to ink it onto you quite easily.
Of course, tattoos are totally about individuality and you should look to modify the design in some way to make it your own. Of course your chosen tattoo artist will also be able to help you figure out a way to individualize the design. They are among the most creative and artistic of people.
Indeed, a tattoo finder is a truly simple and easy way to find your ideal tattoo design without wasting a lot of time; you simply have to become a member of a professionals tattoo gallery before you can have fast and convenient access to this tool. There is no easier way than using a tattoo finder to help you in your search for an outstanding and excellent design for tattoos.

Choosing a tattoo is difficult. If it isn’t, you have not done your homework. Too often, newcomers will stroll into their local tattoo parlor, pick up a few books or checkout the artwork on the walls, and thirty minutes later sit down in the chair for their session.
This is crazy! Call it short-sighted, or having too much faith in tattoo removal technology (dubious odds, at best), but for something that will be on your body for your entire life, you really need to take a few steps back, slow down, and take your time making a design choice. Here are a few steps that you should consider taking so that you don’t end up with a visible reminder of your bad decision.
Choose your location first: where you get your tattoo often has an impact on the style that you choose. For example, a Tattoo that looks good on your lower back likely has a far different style than one that will be placed on your shoulder. Start with the location.
Next choose your design: first narrow down your selection into a style of tattoo that you like, and then narrow it further by finding several designs within that style that appeal to you.
Test drive your design: get some professional transfer paper — this is the paper that tattoo artists use to transfer designs from their books to your skin. Trace the design onto the transfer paper, optionally using a lightbox for assistance. Then have a friend transfer the design onto your skin and fill it in with fine-tipped permanent markers in the appropriate colors. It doesn’t have to be perfect — you just want to make sure the size, style, and colors agree with you.
Sleep on it: now just take your time, continue observing your test tattoo, and trying on different designs. You can see, with a high degree of accuracy and realism, what that tattoo is going to look like on your skin. If you don’t like, just scrub really hard and try again with a clean canvas! Eventually you’ll find a perfect design.
Additionally, if your tattoo will include a lettering style, don’t limit yourself to what you see in the parlor’s books. There are literally thousands of freeware fonts that you can download and install on your computer. You can use a graphics program (even a free one like gimp) to add the lettering to your tattoo design of choice, and then transfer it to your skin with the rest of the test tattoo. Like the design, you’ll eventually find a font that is perfect for your new tattoo.
To some, this sounds like a lot of work, and that’s true. But this tattoo will be with you for a lifetime, so you will want to do your research. Use a tattoo finder to locate a great design, browse through the many free fonts available online, and test drive all of the promising tattoo designs before you ink them permanently. Your effort will be rewarded many fold in the years to come.
